I've dined here for years. I'm always impressed with the excellent consistency of the food and the service. The same waitstaff have been there forever. They seem to have very little turnover. The folks are always friendly and eager to please. My drink is always kept filled.
I just love their breakfasts. The eggs are perfectly cooked, and they have delicious thick biscuits and home fries. The BBQ Chicken Omelet is almost addictive its so good. They make a fantastic chicken fried steak that they serve with a Texas Breakfast. You get a lot of food for the money.
At lunch they do homemade specials each day. Monday and Tuesday are two of my favorites-- an awesome Fried Chicken and then Chicken and Dumplings just like my mom made. Every once and awhile Ill treat myself to cobbler and ice cream.
