There has been a lot of Eddie V bashing lately, so we were a bit reluctant. But we loved their happy hour and recently received a gift certificate so why not?
All I can say is I'm glad we did. It was a packed Saturday night but the service ws not compromised in the least. Our waiter was excellent offering us tastes of wines by the glass and confidently pointing us towards (and away from) our choices in wine, salad, entree, and dessert. What can I say he was right on every time. The warmed goat cheese salad was excellent. Steamed sea bass in ginger soy sauce and breaded fish in lemon butter w/ lump crab were great. And the warmed gooey Godiva chocolate cake was among the best ever.
Maybe we got lucky or the stars were aligned... or maybe others were unlucky, but I'd highly recommend this restaurant.
