As a transplanted east coaster, hard to find pizza with that new york flair to it. Abbot's comes about the best to home witth either the ny style or their gourmet pies, especially the Athens Pie. Not a vegetarian by any stretch of the imagination, but what a refreshing and delightful experience it was when those first few bites were consumed..and has never waivered from that excellence time and tima again. Definitely beats any chain pizza...go ahead and try them...well worth the trip from anywhere in the LA area. Santa Monica location roomier and cleaner...but hey, it's the pizza yer after, not the ambience.
