Steakhouses don't much better in Eugene/Springfield than Outback of Springfield. Its best competitor would be the Roadhouse Grill just down the street, but somehow Outback still has the upper hand.
Outback features a dark and ambient environment, where the aroma of warm food thickens the air. Besides its famous steaks, the other notable things that are attributed to its delicious food would easily be the appetizers and the burgers.
The blooming onion and its famous Aussie Cheesefries are delicious. Any of the burgers (ie. Mad Max, Choose Your Own...) are of the best value and are simply damn good.
I highly recommend Outback for just about anyone except those who are seeking a serene and tranquil environment.
