This restaurant serves big portions of good food, and also has very good service. I would recommend this restaurant to a younger customer who was not intersested in having a nice relaxing dinner. If your looking for a romantic peaceful evening go elsewhere. Pros: Food, Service, Cleanliness Cons: , noisy more

It's Blimey 8/11/2003

Total waste of time, you could get more of a value going to Carl's Jr and ordering the steak sandwich. The Blooming onion is large but is so greasy and tastless that it had to be inundated repeatedly with their spiced thousand island sauce to make it palatable. Both the Rockhampton Rib-Eye and the Prime Ministers Prime Rib were tasteless slabs of meat akin to lightly seasoned cardboard. Ordered Steak medium it came bloody rare and when requested to have it cooked correctly it came out burnt and the waitstaff was exceeding rude and too pre-occupied with each other to notice all the patrons awaiting service. Over an hour and a half from door to door to sit down, order, get food, have it recooked, choke down half of it with a generous slathering of A-1 sauce, get the check and leave. Over priced and not recommended. Pros: Large Portions, Nice Decor Cons: Complicated Parking, Little Privacy, Unattentive Waitstaff more

Aussie Steakhouse Heaven 2/3/2003

Steakhouses don't much better in Eugene/Springfield than Outback of Springfield. Its best competitor would be the Roadhouse Grill just down the street, but somehow Outback still has the upper hand. Outback features a dark and ambient environment, where the aroma of warm food thickens the air. Besides its famous steaks, the other notable things that are attributed to its delicious food would easily be the appetizers and the burgers. The blooming onion and its famous Aussie Cheesefries are delicious. Any of the burgers (ie. Mad Max, Choose Your Own...) are of the best value and are simply damn good. I highly recommend Outback for just about anyone except those who are seeking a serene and tranquil environment. more
