I drove out to Lafayette on the recommendation of a coworker when I asked where I could get good sushi in the East Bay. True to her recommendation, the sushi was good, very fresh and perkier than a ripe pickle. Myself and my lady friend enjoyed our appetizers of fried tofu and grilled calamari.
The ambience is lacking as was the condition of our server's hair. The lighting is bright overhead light, there is no music and relatively cheap laminate tables. If you are looking to impress, this is not the place to go. If you are looking for expensive sushi in a very casual and bland atmosphere, this is the place to go.
