Had lunch at Woodman's this afternoon during my vacation to Boston. Have had a craving for fried clams for the last two years of living on the West coast so a trip was in order. Started off with the chowda, which was very good, lots of clams and potatoes in a mildy creamy base. Lunch was a heaping plate of clam bellies in a light batter and some decent fries and rings. There is no ambiance but when you've been around this long, there's no need for frills. Best way to enjoy this food is outside at a picnic table....
