Spent New Year's Eve here. Apparently the food and service has gone downhill somewhat since new management took over. The food was gourmet wanna-be, things like frog legs, bacon wrapped water chestnuts, giant crab legs etc. The main course was pretty good but really nothing outstanding. They used to have chefs cut the meat but now it was your standard buffet-style serving.
Our room was tiny too. You had to turn sideays to get past the bed to make it to the bathroom. The TV looked like it was from the 70's and the remote did not work.
It is probably the fanciest restaurant/inn in Salem but they really could do better.
Cons: Small rooms
