Compared to many other places in LA, Casa Vega is minimal at best. The taste of the food is questionable, but the drinks are good. All I know is that 3 nice guys (strangers) came up and bought $30 work of drinks for my friend and I. And we aren't even women! So friendly, yes, with good drinks and great crowd. But don't go for the food. And PLEASE don't stand around for an hour for food this carelessly prepared. Have your drinks and then get on the freeway (designated driver, please) and go to La Serenata de Garibaldi instead (or Titos Tacos in Culver City).
Pros: I can walk there!, Dark and clubby, Fun crowd
