I've been coming to this place since the first one opened in Summit in the mid 80s. During that time this was the place all the southside late night cognoscenti knew about and would drive for miles to go to after the bars closed. But since they've become a chain now, the quality has suffered, IMHO. I go to the one in Wheeling on occasion, and the steak can be very inconsistent. One day it's cooked perfectly, the next you're eating something rock hard that tastes likes it's been sitting there cooking since the night before. But when it's done right, it's still one of the best fast food values around. The green hot sauce is a must, pour some on every bite.
