Ok... I like the Black Rose - good music, pretty good food, reasonably good Guinness. However, they don't have a cabaret license, which means that no matter how good the music is, you can only sit and tap your foot underneath the table. AND, they don't let in men wearing sandals. In fact, they'll let women in wearing anything on their feet, but men, wearing the exact same sandals have to look elsewhere. So, if you want good food, and to sit with friends with music in the background and talk over a pretty good pint, the Black Rose is the place for you.
