If anything positive could be said about the Youngstown area it would the Italian food, which is as good as anywhere in the United States. The competition between pizza places is therefore intense. Fernando, the owner of Wedgewood Pizza, has been in business a long time. He takes a personal interest in his business and he is often seen making the pizzas behind the counter at his Wedgewood shop. The result is that this place is one of the best pizza shops in the area. It is always busy. The prices are low, which makes one wonder why any of the chain pizza restaurants can do business. Highly recommended.
