Wedgewood is a nice family oriented place. their fresh smelling and tasting pizza is the best. I recommend people to go to Wedgewood. when you want to grab a bite or go out. The best part is you leave full and never dissatisfided. Wedgewood is the place to be. trust me. more

Their white with chicken is by far the best pizza I have ever had. I've been a loyal customer for eleven years, and though sometimes their staff is a bit brisk the quality of the food and the prices make up for it. more

Sad Treatment of a Regular Customer 11/9/2005

Wedgewood Pizza is some of the best tasting and competitively priced in Austintown, OH, HOWEVER, the treatment of loyal, long-time customers is not good. If they make a mistake, be prepared to defend yourself. After 15+ years and thousands of dollars worth of business (we buy pizza every week) we were treated terribly because their order taker wrote down the wrong pizza and we asked for a new one. We will never go there again. more

Best of the Best 8/8/2002

If anything positive could be said about the Youngstown area it would the Italian food, which is as good as anywhere in the United States. The competition between pizza places is therefore intense. Fernando, the owner of Wedgewood Pizza, has been in business a long time. He takes a personal interest in his business and he is often seen making the pizzas behind the counter at his Wedgewood shop. The result is that this place is one of the best pizza shops in the area. It is always busy. The prices are low, which makes one wonder why any of the chain pizza restaurants can do business. Highly recommended. Pros: Inexpensive, Generous toppings, Not a long wait more

  • In 1967, Pasquate “Patsy” Acconcia operated a pizza shop in Youngstown. When he decided to make the move to the present Austintown location he took on a partner, Fernando Riccioni. For the next 20 years Fernando and Patsy worked daily to develop the recipes they are still using today.The dough process begins every morning at 6:00 a.m. and continues through the late morning and early afternoon. Our pizzas are made to order fresh daily with a variety of unique toppings along with our special recipe sauce and our homemade sausage.We don't do anything fancy…we just do PIZZA! With more than 46 years of experience, we know we can make a pizza to please you!The same tradition is carried on today with Fernando still leading the way with the help of his daughters, Adelina and Filomena. Also, joining the Wedgewood experience are Fernando's son-in-law, Mike, his grandson Michael, granddaughters Jenna and Gabriella, and his nephew, Rick.
