I stayed there overnight in the middle of the week. Boring! They don't open the wine tasting room or gift shop until the weekend. Ate in the main restaurant and had to practically beg the waitress to take our order. Then tried to go to the Yardhouse Pub for a drink and the waitress there seemed annoyed at our presence. Waited several minutes and when she didn't even acknowledge our existence, we left. We were pretty much the only ones there and I think she wanted to close a few hours early. The day after we checked out, I went to the McMenamins website to rate my stay and never got a response. All in all, pretty disappointing. A nice property is not enough; you need to back it up with decent service.
