We were so excited when The Grand Lodge came to town, it is a beautiful place and the grounds are kept up and actually MANICURED! that is where the beauty ends. I only go when there is an event and out of convenience, because of a class event or my friends want to go sit outside and have a brew in the summertime. Each and EVERY time we are dissapointed with the service (takes a minimum of 15 minutes to have a server get over to take your order), but that is not where it ends, it is another 30-40 minutes before you actuallly get the drink. we have ordered 2 at a time so that helps but the2nd drink is hot by the time you are ready to consume it. They have the RUDEST staff EVER! they all act like they HATE their jobs. if you hapen to complain to the manager you just may get YELLED at! and dispite of numerous complaints it remains the same...sad but the McMenamin Brothers are into ""cool"" places and good beer..the staff, and overpriced food that is horrible is not on their radar, and anyone you ask has the same experience, service is horrible, food is cold and greasy...and bad attitudes abound. Time to wake up boys, clean house and start over. you could make SO much more $$$ just by implementing CUSTOMER SERVICE! just think if you could sell more than 2 drinks per customer in 4 hrs!
I know a lot of Great experienced servers that have NO interest in working there, they do not want to be associated with the horrible service and attitudes!
