Casual yet upscale, quiet little coffeehouse/restaurant. Full of character in an old Soulard neighborhood. Intimate decor; lounge-like area in an upstairs loft. Also outdoor seating. The sandwiches are made to order and are delicious; try the chicken pesto sandwich. Awesome fresh fruit salad. Very fresh ingredients. Constantly changing selection of fresh-baked pastries and sweets. Great place to meet for coffee and converse; food and coffee is worth paying for. It is too bad that it isn't open later into the night.
Pros: coffee selection, Euro atmosphere, Fresh ingredients
Cons: closes rather early
