I haven't dined at the Avon Inn since 1995. Recalling a conversation I recently had with my mother, I remembered her mentioning the Avon Inn. She and my father had eaten there about a year ago so I asked, how was it? She replied that it was less than favorable, according to her the service was slow, and my father's steak was very tough. Not believing her, my wife and I went to the Avon Inn on Saturday. Sure enough, my steak was very tough and I had to wait a long, long time for my drink. It was also very cold in the resturant. So the moral of the story, always listen to Mom!
