The beef is still the best value around. And the salad (if you don't require trendy greens) with its iceberg lettuce, tomatoes and onions is generous. The Hilltop dressing is abominable but the blue cheese and the others aren't so bad.
The potatoes both mashed and fried are quite good but the vegetables are right out of a can and taste as if they've been sitting in a steam table for hours.
But the real reason to go to the Hilltop is the steak which is still superb and maybe shop in the attached market.
