I dined at Ciola's a few times when they first opened and the food was not great. I recently returned to check up on them, and the service was good, the winelist was great, and the food was better. The Bruschetta was yummy, and the tomato salad was delicious. However my entree, Penne Primavera, was truly bland. The penne was overcooked (doughy) and the sauce was flavorless. My folks enjoyed their meals, however.
