The Skyline is an eastern Las Vegas landmark. Where else can you still get a delicious prime rib dinner for '70s prices? The food nor the ambience have probably never changed since the day the restaurant was founded. It looks like the greasy spoon everyone in town went to for Sunday dinner where I grew up in Eastern Washington (sans the casino)--definitely not a spot to take a first date! However, the food is good, down-to-earth, stick-to-your-ribs victuals. Actually, the restaurant is located on the eastern side of Henderson on the highway to Boulder Dam. To save yourself a few bucks and have a terrific dinner at the same time, and perhaps meet a roadrunner or two, the Skyline is the hottest roadhouse around!
Pros: inexpensive, good, basic food, plenty of parking
Cons: crowded
