Hubby, some friends and I stopped here for a late dinner one night during the last Renaissance Faire (we're part of the ""living history"" performances there). We must have come during an ""off time"", since the place wasn't crowded at all, nor was it smoky. The service was fast and cheerful. The chicken-fried steak was fork-tender, crisp and juicy, and topped with a very good gravy. Hubby's top sirloin was also quite tender and cooked to perfection. The salads and sides were pretty standard stuff, but the rolls - oh my! They were hot, fresh, and tasted home-made! We will definitely be back next year. This place is easily the best ""dive"" in Henderson or Las Vegas!
Pros: Tasty food, good prices, friendly service.
Cons: Parking somewhat tight.
