The All American meal: The Bernice (sp?) Burger, fries, Vanilla milk shake. For cheese lovers, the fried cheese on the Bernice Burger is incredible. And the vanilla milk shakes are made with real vanilla syrup and they're world-famous, igh butter-fat content, homemade ice cream. The ambience of a 1950's soda shop, a la ""Back to the Future."" Don't forget a real ice cream sundae for dessert. A Manchester institution since before I moved there in 1956! Worth a trip from anywhere.
