Even though this type of place is perfect for kids, apparantly no one told the people who work there. We have been a couple of times and both times have been treated poorly and had very slow help (which is not a good thing when you have children in a place with a lot of breakable objects). Unlike other pottery painting places, they make you dependent on the staff for paint, so if the staff is slow or unwilling to help, you just have to wait. There are several other choices for this (a new place in Fairfax Corner) so there is no need to pay a lot for this poor customer service. Parking is also difficult in this area of Old Town Fairfax.
