I really love Sunken Meadow park - it's not as crowded as Jones Beach, so you have more elbow room. Kids love to ride their bikes and I love to stroll up & down the boardwalk or just bring a beach chair, sit, relax, read a book or watch the kids play. It's a nice park for a family outing too. The kids love when we all bring our bikes and ride together. I'd definitely chose Sunken Meadow over Jones. Also if you live in Eastern Suffolk County, Sunken Meadow is a whole lot closer than Jones Beach is!
