We had never been truly thrilled with the doctor we had at Capital Pediatric. Then we ran into their billing procedures. Their bills are truly confusing. As an accountant, that says something. They only list "open tickets" so it doesn't show payments that you've made (which makes it hard to tell if you've already paid them or not). We have also had problems with the billing in that they claimed to have sent us multiple bills when they hadn't. We also paid in a timely manner and they're claiming we haven't paid and have turned us over to collections even though we have receipts, the charges cleared the bank statements, and their billing service even acknowledged seeing our payment (although it wasn't applied to OUR account). They also bill for charges months after the service was performed which is another reason it seems like you would've already paid them. The ability to ask nurse questions at any time is nice. Although we had the issue where we'd call to ask if she needed to see the doctor and always got the answer yes even when it seemed pretty obvious now that she didn't. Beware of this pediatric group. I would not recommend them at all. more
