My husband, as a Microsoft employee, goes to Pro Club for free, so I decided to join also. I had to pay a monthly fee, which is more expensive than someplace like Gold's Gym or 24 Hour Fitness. However, this is a beautiful gym. It is very clean, and there are tons of machines to work out on. You never have to wait to get on a machine, even at peak times. I really enjoyed working out at Pro Club.
I eventually cancelled my membership, however. The reason was that the child care is ridiculously expensive. I have 2 kids to drop off at the day care, and they charge something like $7-8 per hour PER CHILD. I understand that they have a licensed day care center, but this is way too much money for me to pay. If I wanted to go to the gym three times a week and drop off 2 kids, it would cost me a lot of money. Compare this to Gold's Gym in Redmond, who charges $2.50 per child for a two hour session. Needless to say, I'm now a member of Gold's Gym instead.
In short, if you work for Microsoft, and/or don't have kids, Pro Club is wonderful. If you have kids to drop off at daycare, you might want to consider another gym.
