The Battleship Texas was the Flagship of the Texas Navy before it was anchored permanently on the Houston Ship channel. It is a great place to take the family, the kids can explore all the fantastic nooks and cranny of this Famous BattleShip while you listen to the tour that run through the ship. And if your lucky one of you might catch a glimps of the ghost that haunts the ship. Don't forget the gift shop and while your there walk around and look at the gravestones and markers of the fallen soldiers of the Texas revolution. It is a fascinating place.
