Good: My unerstanding is that Carolina's is a lot of the old Mi Cocina crowd from the founder to a lot of the staff. Not sure why they left Mi Cocina but you can tell the feel is professional and the food is good. I am excited for the area because there are a ton of people in the area that have been underserved and have to drive up to Legacy or down to Beltline to get good food.. Bad: The main thing I didn't like was not really their fault but I still didn't like. Their patio looks to be one of the best parts of this new restaurant, but with the 100 degree weather this summer it was too hot to sit out there even with the fans and misters. I am looking forward to the Fall.. Improvements: I felt like the Chili Rellano, that my friend had that I tasted, didn't have as crispy a shell as I would have liked, but other than that everything was excellent. I had the chicken enchiladas mole and we had the seafood ceviche both of which were some of the best I have ever had.. Other: Lots of drink options. They had over 20 beers on tap and maybe close to 30. In addition, they had a number of different margarita options including a sangria infused option which they called the "La Bomba" which was tasty. Definitely strong, I thought it was good, but it is not for the faint of heart or overly sweet..
