We rented Quiet Time through Sandbridge Realty in June 2020 and had a number of problems. The small ones were cleaning lapses, cheap sheets, a lack of certain basic supplies and beach equipment, the house swaying and shaking in the wind (which seemed to be due to erosion under the house), and the failure of Sandbridge Realty to control neighbors (in one of its houses) who partied until 3:00 a.m. The two bigger problems stemmed from the lack of integrity of Sandbridge Realty and the owner. The first was the 24/7 loud and intrusive construction project on the beach that kept us awake at night and made being on the beach during the day unpleasant; too late, I saw that other realtors in Sandbridge let customers know in advance about the beach replenishment, but we were never warned about this months-long construction project when we booked just two weeks before our stay, and when I called Sandbridge Realty, they would not take any responsibility for withholding that information or try to make up for it in any way. The second major problem was leaky living room windows that allowed rain in the house and ruined one of our laptops. Despite several phone calls and follow-up emails and photos with Cindy, the Guest Relations Rep at Sandbridge Realty, it was clear that she had no interest in helping us and just kept saying over and over that we had no proof. The owner refused to pay for the repair or even admit that the windows leak. We've rented a lot of vacation houses over the years and have never had any problems, so I know you can do a lot better than renting with Sandbridge Realty.
