Be aware! I purchased their trip insurance and had to cancel due to family illness. After multiple hours of trying to get a full refund, they were totally unwilling to do the right the thing, and did not go to bat for me with their travel insurance provider. (I was not going to get a “doctor’s note” from my son’s cancer doctor). I’m avoiding this outfit in the future. more

We rented Quiet Time through Sandbridge Realty in June 2020 and had a number of problems. The small ones were cleaning lapses, cheap sheets, a lack of certain basic supplies and beach equipment, the house swaying and shaking in the wind (which seemed to be due to erosion under the house), and the failure of Sandbridge Realty to control neighbors (in one of its houses) who partied until 3:00 a.m. The two bigger problems stemmed from the lack of integrity of Sandbridge Realty and the owner. The first was the 24/7 loud and intrusive construction project on the beach that kept us awake at night and made being on the beach during the day unpleasant; too late, I saw that other realtors in Sandbridge let customers know in advance about the beach replenishment, but we were never warned about this months-long construction project when we booked just two weeks before our stay, and when I called Sandbridge Realty, they would not take any responsibility for withholding that information or try to make up for it in any way. The second major problem was leaky living room windows that allowed rain in the house and ruined one of our laptops. Despite several phone calls and follow-up emails and photos with Cindy, the Guest Relations Rep at Sandbridge Realty, it was clear that she had no interest in helping us and just kept saying over and over that we had no proof. The owner refused to pay for the repair or even admit that the windows leak. We've rented a lot of vacation houses over the years and have never had any problems, so I know you can do a lot better than renting with Sandbridge Realty. more

The callousness of this company during the Pandemic is as epic as the health crisis we are suffering through. The group was late to publish any guidelines on their website, totally unempathetic to the plight of large groups with travel and health restrictions, and hellbent on getting their money regardless of circumstances. Behavior I would not expect from a company that touts itself as facilitating fun. We’ve been a client of Sandbridge Realty for many years but this is our last. The only comfort is that Karma is a b***h and their reach for short term gain can only hurt their long term success. Plenty of Real Realty groups from which to rent in the VA Beach market. more

We are horrified by this company's policies during this pandemic. We have 5 families (27 people) coming from 3 states. The Virginia governor has ordered a stay at home policy, with no groups of more than 10, and the beaches/bars/restaurants are closed. There is no playing, sitting, or swimming on the beach allowed. The local government has recommended that companies cancel and refund rental agreements during this time. Yet Sandbridge realty refuses to allow cancellations with refunds, but promises to "clean the houses really well"?!?! Local residents are upset about rental houses full of outsiders. The press has called the company regarding this policy which so obviously chooses money over the health and lives of the local residents and renters. The company has failed to respond to any phone calls from the press. I wonder why.
