I really like this company they make sure that their technicians have a ton of training so when they show up they actually know what they're doing. I have tried other companies will they send out people that have no clue what they're doing the tech spends lots of time on the telephone asking for how to do their job just somebody who doesn't really know and is too busy to answer all the questions they try and sell you something and your system is still broken afterwards. Isaac was my tech he was very polite even more than little shoe covers when you came in the house and took him off when he went outside and then put him right back on when he came in the house again. He was very thorough and all of his checking of different things that we're going wrong and explained everything very clearly and answered all of my questions. I feel like they were very honest as a company with what I should expect they showed up on time and even called me before they were headed out to the house which was a huge Plus. I gave them only four stars because there is a couple of points that's I think could have been better even though they are still a great company and I would use them again and again anytime I have a problem with my AC system. Maybe I don't know enough about the industry to know if their prices are higher than other options but the cost to fix my system was $1,900. For a three-year-old system that cost almost $7,000 I find that to be a lot of money. But again I don't know if Centex is overpriced or if any company would charge me that much money to make the repair that needs to be done. I did really like the fact that they had multiple options for me to either put a bandaid on the system, do a partial repair, or do a complete repair and Ensure that everything that could break is brought back to where it needs to be with a warranty. That gives me the option to find out what will work for my situation. It just seems to me and I've all of the options that are available everything is very expensive. But maybe I'm just a penny pincher and AC repair cost more than I think it should. Jasmine was the lady who took my phone call and communicated back and forth with me about my appointment. She was polite and not that fake Walmart polite but actually a genuine politeness as if she was a happy person and glad to be at work. This is huge for me as I hate hate hate the fake thank you for coming to Walmart type greetings that companies give these days. It is huge for me when somebody greets me like I'm a real person and they are a real person it's going to share with me how they can make my day and they're happy to do so. So two thumbs up for Jasmine. Maybe I'm setting the bar too high here but it would be very nice since I'm a technical person if the person who answered the phone could be a technician of their business. But either way she got all my questions answered even if she didn't have the answer she was very quick to find the answer which means she's still a great asset. All in all I would use Centex again and definitely recommend to others. But as my nature I try and make things better anyway that I can.
