Three years ago we replaced our warped and rotting wood windows. When I had replaced windows in our previous house with a basic Home Depot window, I immediately noticed a huge difference in warmth and noise. Not so here. Our new windows were as drafty and noisy as the ones we had replaced, and the new windows frequently get foggy in the winter. Immediately, the cranks to open the windows started to leave metal shavings on our windows when utilized. The screens are cheaply made and do not seal tightly. Three years after install, the arms that support the windows when cranked out have started to rust. I was also not impressed by their recommended installer, Darin Dell, who provided many empty promises regarding his involvement in the project. I really wish I had gone with Home Depot windows again, which were about half the price and twice the quality.
