Have Oxbow windows installed in my home. Several windows had broken seals and Oxbow replaced the glass. The first time I opened one of the windows after replacement, the hardware detached from the window. Oxbow said nothing about any other problems with the windows and I found out later that they wrote in a internal report that the wood was rotted. Now after paying for new glass, I have to buy a whole new window. Oxbow hid the problem. Then wanted to charge me individually for each part or I could buy a whole new window. If I buy the parts I'll end up paying more that I would if I had just bought a new window and I won't have a warranty. If i buy a whole new window, I have $1,500 worth of glass I bought and don't need. Guess what Oxbow, I'm buying new windows somewhere else!!!! more

We had our whole house replaced with Oxbow windows last year and we are so happy! Todd and his team were so professional and affordable!! We had gotten quotes from other companies and it felt like they were playing games with us stating well if you sign tonight I will give you so much off. We got none of that with Todd he came in and measured our windows and got us a quote within a couple of days, no pressure and he made the process so easy. Terri came and installed them and Joe stained them. They too were great to work with and did a wonderful job!! We love our new oxbow windows , they are beautiful and well constructed!! My gas and electric bill are lower too!! Thanks again so much!! more

Three years ago we replaced our warped and rotting wood windows. When I had replaced windows in our previous house with a basic Home Depot window, I immediately noticed a huge difference in warmth and noise. Not so here. Our new windows were as drafty and noisy as the ones we had replaced, and the new windows frequently get foggy in the winter. Immediately, the cranks to open the windows started to leave metal shavings on our windows when utilized. The screens are cheaply made and do not seal tightly. Three years after install, the arms that support the windows when cranked out have started to rust. I was also not impressed by their recommended installer, Darin Dell, who provided many empty promises regarding his involvement in the project. I really wish I had gone with Home Depot windows again, which were about half the price and twice the quality. more

Company would not warranty its product nor labor more

After having our print for 4 weeks they still couldn't give a quote, very relaxed and just didn't care. more

Don't be fooled by the initial quote. Poor communication and poor service more

In the fall of 2010 we spent close to $16000 on windows purchased through Oxbowindo, who was recommended by an acquaintance. Installation by a professional contractor was another $7000. Issues with the window surfaced during installation and a representative was dispatched who immediately blamed the contractor who just happened to be on site that day installing more of the windows. Allegations of poor installation were proven wrong. During the winter issues with the sliders surfaced with seals pulling away from frames allowing air and snow infiltration, and fog was evident between the panes on one of the large trapezoids. The situation has gotten worse to the point that the sliders, which had been repaired, are once again "broken" and there is frost between the panes on several windows including the trapezoid. Emails to Oxbo were responded with "send photos" and a copy of the warranty. At this point the windows are just over 3 years old. With NO acceptable response from Oxbo, I went direct to the manufacturer, complaining not only about their windows but also their sales representative. Several days later Oxbo sent an email that a window representative would contact me directly..... Very evident Oxbo does not want to be involved with service after they collect their money. After waiting even longer now have a proposal in hand from the manufacturer that they will replace the windows but I have to pay for the labor. Poor product, and even poorer service..... and never even a phone call to talk to a dis-satisfied customer. I would NOT recommend Oxbo to anyone. more

Even though we were only looking to purchase one window, we were treated as if we were their most important customer, and they even delivered that single unit directly to our home. We decided on Lincoln for our brand of window and couldn't be happier with the unit. Besides Lincoln and their own brand, they also carry Anderson and Timeline windows. more
