We have been a member of Bell Brothers' "club" for a couple of years that provides for checks and maintenance of A/C and heat, as well as a discount on parts and repairs. And, perhaps more importantly, priority service calls. Have never had any issues with them finding out and resolving a problem - increasing since the brand used by the builder 13 years ago is reaching the end of its life expectancy. Their staff is personable on the phone and in person, giving plenty of updates about expected arrival and scheduling.
