The sewer line was blocked between the parking strip and the main, and I also needed info on another future repair job I want to tackle. The gentleman was quite personable and professional. The latter I have come to expect as the norm from Allbritten. Anyway, the man got right to work and was able to clear the blockage quickly. The were root masses in two places, but they were not difficult to cut away. He cleaned up everything and made it look like there had never been a problem. He had also checked the line going to the house just to insure there was no blockage in that direction, and there wasn't. He surveyed my second concern, the future job, and gave me a clear sense of what estimating the project would entail, which included going under the house to assess the problem and what repairs might be needed. He quoted the price for doing that, I believe it was $63 dollars, not bad at all. I'm certain I will schedule that task for another day in the near future. Today's job came out to $169 with my $10% discount coupon. The price is a fair bit higher than it used to be in years past. I'm not too crazy about that, but I am okay with paying for the quality I get from Allbritten. I have dealt with about 4 or 5 other companies over the years and I have had service with Allbritten some 3 or 4 times for various things (sewer lines at least twice, in different directions) and I have experienced the same high quality level of service with each of the men that have shown up at my door on every occasion. Often some of the advice they give me saves me a bit of money here and there, so I end up a happy camper from the service they provide and more.
