I went in 6 weeks ago for a painful, swollen foot that I am having trouble walking on. I was told that same day that a request had been put in for an MRI. Two weeks later I still did not hear back from them so I called to see when my MRI was scheduled for. I was informed the request was never put in & that they would now put in the request with my insurance company. Two more weeks went by & still no call that my MRI was scheduled. So I called my insurance company & got it scheduled. Got my MRI finally FIVE weeks after seeing the doctor. A week after I still had not heard back from the doctor, so I call them and am told the doctor is busy & will call me back. Still no call back from them by the next afternoon, so I call them again. I am told they misplaced my MRI results & they will call me back when they find them. This is ridiculous! They get paid & my foot is still swollen, difficult to walk on & painful every day. What permanent damage will my foot have do to this long wait & no treatment?! more
