Doctors Urgent Care

I have been going here for 24 years and they have gone way down hill. Every time you go there all new people are working. Dr. Vic Wood is my primary care doctor and I have not seen him in 4 years. He has no idea who I am. There used to always be a doctor there but now they are PAs or NPs and they change often. I don't understand how they can be Doctors Urgent Care when there is no doctor in the building. more

I went in 6 weeks ago for a painful, swollen foot that I am having trouble walking on. I was told that same day that a request had been put in for an MRI. Two weeks later I still did not hear back from them so I called to see when my MRI was scheduled for. I was informed the request was never put in & that they would now put in the request with my insurance company. Two more weeks went by & still no call that my MRI was scheduled. So I called my insurance company & got it scheduled. Got my MRI finally FIVE weeks after seeing the doctor. A week after I still had not heard back from the doctor, so I call them and am told the doctor is busy & will call me back. Still no call back from them by the next afternoon, so I call them again. I am told they misplaced my MRI results & they will call me back when they find them. This is ridiculous! They get paid & my foot is still swollen, difficult to walk on & painful every day. What permanent damage will my foot have do to this long wait & no treatment?! more

Been going here for years, everyone I've encountered has been caring. One of the doctors even went out of her way to check and make sure my medications would be safe if I became pregnant. Also I have never had to wait very long. I suggest them to my friends all the time. more

Nice but BAD Doctors; not nice and bad staff! I went in with a sinus infection and received an antibiotic. Had a reaction to the antibiotic called and got a receptionist that was very rude (to put it PG). She said that “they will call back if I need to come in other wise check with the pharmacist” I asked what did she mean check with the pharmacist? I need someone to call me and tell me what to do. She got mad and said that “she had a room full of patients and that they would call me otherwise check with the pharmacist” I called back and told them that they need to call This receptionist said she would. She called back said that they called in a prescription for the reaction and to discontinue the antibiotic. I asked what was I suppose to do about the infection (note I’m no doctor but I was always told to make sure not to stop an antibiotic or else the infection may become renitent) she said the doctor did say anything about that he was gone, she would leave him a note! Going to go to med express tomorrow. more

This place does not take appointments so it's waitlist only. You're pushed off onto a Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant. If you do see a doctor, the wait is even longer. The office staff is rude and incompetent. Most of the staff is doing on the job training so no one knows what they're doing. They close and lock the doors well before they're scheduled closing time so they don't have to work over. more
