The stay was as good as it could have been. I would rather have been on a beach, but this was not that bad. Everyone was personable and appeared to do everything they could to ensure my stay was as good as possible. That includes both care givers and administrative personnel. Questions that were asked along the way, were all answered to my satisfaction. The complications I perceived I was experiencing, the people in physical and occupational therapy were more than happy to help me find solutions to rectify the problem including reviewing my insurance list of available doctors in the area. They made recommendations as to who they thought I should follow up with. The nurse practitioners have always gone to the point of explaining everything and anything. It came across to me that the professional staff here have all been above average as far as I am concerned. Their treatment of the patients, myself and others I came in contact with, were exceptional. They physical therapy group made available to me, the equipment I could use to exercise the unaffected top half of my body. I also enjoyed participating in the patient cartoon cation contest. Including myself and other patients with extracurricular activities in the hospital gave me a feeling of inclusion within the hospital. Everybody did the functions of their jobs, but also all of them interacted with me. They took a real interest in me as a person, not just another patient. Everyone I came into contact with more than exceeded my expectations of their function. Nothing more to say other than comments about the food. Hospital food is what it is...but they did their best. The fresh fruit and vegetables that were used in meal preparation was greatly appreciated, but they cant do a medium rare steak! Lance Beauchamp
