I transferred to Kindred Clear Lake from Clear lake regional for advanced wound care. The rooms are big and you have a nice color TV. The nurses are nice as they can be. If you need extra supplies like blankets they will get them for you right away. The meals are good. Some of them taste home cooked. Even between meals if you are hungry they will bring you snacks in between. They had a large variety of sandwiches and snacks to offer. They have physical therapist that come to see you when you are ready for it or they take you to the gym. They have hyperbaric treatment that helped heal my foot with oxygen. They let you make decisions about your health care and treatments. You are never stuck with the same nurse. They change it up so your not stuck with the same person and if you request it, they will re-assign someone else. I never had to, but they told me they could if I need to. They were all sweet or helpful. The nurses seem more like doctors around here. They have a lot of knowledge! The bathrooms are big too! No tubs though, just showers. I liked the warm up light so it want freezing when I got out of the shower. There is nothing wrong with this place. ~John Hutchins
