The dental providers are adequate but the customer service is horrible. As a returning patient, I was almost not allowed to make an appointment because I didn't have my insurance card with me ... despite repeatedly saying that my insurance had not changed. The treatment I received on the phone was so bad I decided to go elsewhere (Dr. Okediji - fantastic!) I contacted Michigan Ave Dental for my records and they needed me to fill out a form and send them $25(!). I didn't have a fax machine available for a few days so they said they had to mail it. (I was told that they "can't email" this form.) Then the form never arrived.
When I was seen by the dentist there, I felt the care was adequate but I felt that they kept pushing add-on expenses. I recognize this is a business but I felt very "sold to" which gives the impression that money is more important than care.
I will never go back here and cannot recommend it to anyone.
