My gas heater stopped heating water. Called AirGroup out to take a look. Told me the vent motor was bad and I should replace the entire water heater. The new water heater would cost $2300.00 plus labor and tax. To replace the vent motor would be $730 for the motor plus installation. I did a little research and a new Gas Heater exact same model including the vent motor is $884. Where does the $2300 price come from. I ordered the motor through ferguson for $318. Where does $730 come from. I would not recommend anyone using this company. Way overpriced and tried to upsell at a ridiculous price.
