A shoddy medical practice. Recently, I took my daughter there with a deep, persistent cough. They sent her away with a prescription for antibiotics, but inexplicably, no cough medicine. The next morning, they did call in a prescription for a cough medicine. But it proved ineffective. Late in the day, I called again. She had been four days without eating, two without sleep. They refused to phone in a prescription for a stronger, effective cough syrup. A major storm was coming and we were going to be snowed in. The slip-shod medicine, and later indifference to a patient's suffering left me appalled.
