We had a terrible experience with Closets by Design in Shirley, Mass. The initial consultation spent over 3 hours on the first visit- which we were not warned would happen. We felt completely "trapped in the house" and had to completely change our plans that day. Next, the installation proved disastrous in that the designer was so incompetent that she had not allowed for the normal length of shirtsleeves and, as a result, the entire closet had to be redesigned. This took multiple phone calls and visits. We asked for some reasonable compensation for all the time and inconvenience we experienced but were denied this courtesy. We would never recommend this company to anyone in that their service is simply abysmal.
