My experience at Stovall at River City has to be one of the poorest experiences I've encountered with Apartment Communities. Appearances can be misleading as it is a beautiful community from the outside. I had a situation while living there, where I was broken into while I was at home. The intruder broke in with a key to apartment and stole thousands of dollars in cash and personal belongings including sentimental items that I will never get back. I am a single young man who just finished college and was living on my own when this transpired. I turned to management for help in this situation but was not greeted in a manner I felt was appropiate. I advised of the situation and asked if their was any security feeds from the surviellance equipment that we could turn over to the police. They said their systems were down at the time of break-in and that they would get back with me the next day. Upon that next day they advised that they were unable to retrieve any surviellance feeds for the police. Obviously this sounded suspicious as the intruder got in with a key. As one could relate I never felt safe there again, I began residing there less and less and the manager there by the name of Mike Wells seemed to care less about addressing the situation and assisting me. I personally would never reccommend anyone living there despite its beauty and fair pricing. I'd much rather pay more and secure my belongings and safety then to have to sleep with a pistol under my pillow at night
