I came to the Vallejo Team Superstore after searching Northern California dealerships for a 2012 red allure Hyundai Elantra. I originally worked with another dealership.
They took my deposit and said the car would be in any time. However, after two weeks and no communication, I decided to look to other dealers. My car had broken down and I was going without a car...I needed a new car. I had seen the Elantra months before and had fallen in love with it. I really loved the red color and, since I don't buy cars every day, I think I should get what I really wanted.
As soon as I contacted Kari Jones at the Vallejo location, things changed. She was very friendly and I felt she really valued me as a customer. When I got to the dealership, the whole atmosphere was friendly and welcoming. They even had a sign on the car that said "Hold for Teri." I almost cried. As a woman who has not bought a car in over 10 years, I was a little nervous and intimidated. My previous experience with car dealerships always left me feeling like I had been taken advantage of. That didn't happen here.
Kari and her manager worked with me to ensure that I had a great car and a deal I could live with. They took the fear out of it and it actually turned into a very joyful experience. The finance department and service department were also helpful. Leslie Musante was very good at communicating with me and setting up my service appointment. She also had great advice to share.
I would (and have already) recommend this dealership. Kari Jones, in particular, was wonderful to work with. I felt that I made a friend...it wasn't as if someone was just trying to sell a car for the highest price. I felt she was honest and caring. I wish everyone had an opportunity to work with someone like Kari.
