Good: Service was good. Wine list seemed okay.. Bad: Food was some of the worst I have had and I have travelled extensively. The first entree I got was overcooked. I ordered the meat medium rare and it came medium well. It seemed to me that there was an awful lot of meat tenderizer on a filet. The baked potato was so hard that it was inedible. The vegetables (commercially prepared and probably only steamed there) were okay. After I sent the meat back, the server asked if I would like to change to the duck entree. I had to wait a long time. DRY and STRINGY.. Improvements: Could someone attend to the disaster that must be the kitchen? We came very early, so the grill must not have been busy, but still badly attended to and food overcooked.. Other: If you want an historic inn with decent food, go to Worthington! I don't mind paying for good products but this is NOT one of them. Pricey without quality. Sorry, I was really looking forward to my first visit, BUT, I will NOT be back. What a shame..
