From ghost stories to bad service--I suggest you watch out! Hotel rooms are very nice and the building decor is as well, but the staff are a bit snotty, at least the ones I have encountered. I had booked a room 9 months in advance after making a special trip to see the available ones, so that I could have the one we wanted on our wedding night before our honeymoon. Much to our dismay, they had not only given our room to someone else but they wanted to put us in that room WITH THEIR THINGS!!! Yes, the people might return (of course they would) but we could just go in and stay. Apparently these people had booked in the same room for the few days preceding and decided to stay longer and wouldn't give their room up. There were no more rooms available and basically they kicked us into a room that had been canceled just as we arrived. It ended our wedding day horribly to have to stand in a lobby IN OUR WEDDING CLOTHES waiting for them to get us a room. To rectify it, they would give us a bottle of white wine---BIG DEAL! When we went to check out the next morning, we conveniently had a $600 bill--dinner tabs, phone calls, room stay---all from the original room we were intended to have. They had us as the occupants!!!! We were upset and had enough. The woman at the desk was very rude and called the manager because she thought we were trying to pull a fast one (which was later cleared up, but no apologies or concessions were made). If I were you, just have a meal there--its not that great of food--but at least you won't end up with a $600 bill!
