I was staying with a few buddies at the horrible Super 8 next door (trying to do a pseudo-bachelor party night of drinking on the cheap). We had an hour and a half to kill before our taxi arrived, so we went to this place for some enchiladas and margaritas. Let me tell you, this place was packed. We snuck in to the back room, and took seats at the bar. It had the feel of a large family reunion or wedding reception, with people mingling between tables and handshakes all around. The vibe was happy, lubricated, and festive. In the background this hilarious Latino house band was playing, a cross between La Bamba and the Wedding Singer. The margaritas, however, were no laughing matter, especially the famed purple one.
