This laundromat is five star! I've been a loyal customer for over 5 years. There are laundromats closer to where I live, including a brand new one off Nicholasville Road, but to me, Suds N Duds is worth the trip! The owner Tia, is always friendly and helpful, as are all the attendants. The place is always clean, neat and well maintained. Suds and Duds has a washer that holds 65 pounds of laundry. That's the biggest washer I have found in all of Lexington. I can fit both of my queen size comforters in one machine. There is a tabled area in the back where you can sit and eat, watch cable tv or enjoy the free WI FI. There is a bathroom on the premises with, both, a working lock on the door and sign stating to knock before entering for added protection and privacy. The owner Tia is truly devoted to giving her customers the best service possible and takes painstaking care with her drop off orders. I am hoping to enjoy the indulgence of their drop off service...at $1.20 per pound for a wash, dry and professional fold. Plus an extra 20 percent off discount for UK students, campus workers, UK Hospital employees and Military Members. They are open seven days a week from 8am to 9pm, so there are plenty of opportunity to get your laundry done. I urge you all to take a trip to Suds N Duds next time you need to wash. You won't be disappointed.
