Everything is amazing in this place the attendant the machines they have large machines. It’s cheap for your money so you use a laundry card and then don’t have to carry bunch of change around the attendant are so helpful and are constantly cleaning. The owner comes in and makes sure if every one is good. Every thing is new the bathroom are small but that’s all they have in space but it was very clean. The shopping centre is great pizza place next door. The dryers you have to slid your card in four times and it goes you 20 mins and it dryers one load I was in and out in 40 mins. Can’t beat that. Just ask questions if you have a problem. I’ve visited many places in the country and this is the best place I went to in many states. Thank you for your patience and time sud n duds more

This place is so small you can hardly move around in it. The washers don't get the clothes clean, The dryers don't work at all. They said to put 50 cents in to warm them up, and then you have to keep adding 25 cents for only 5 minutes. The whole place is terrible and should be shut down. She raised the wash to $2.75 now. It's a waste of time to go there. I left with a load of WET clothes after wasting $1.00 in the worthless dryers. I would NEVER, NEVER go there again. more

This laundromat is five star! I've been a loyal customer for over 5 years. There are laundromats closer to where I live, including a brand new one off Nicholasville Road, but to me, Suds N Duds is worth the trip! The owner Tia, is always friendly and helpful, as are all the attendants. The place is always clean, neat and well maintained. Suds and Duds has a washer that holds 65 pounds of laundry. That's the biggest washer I have found in all of Lexington. I can fit both of my queen size comforters in one machine. There is a tabled area in the back where you can sit and eat, watch cable tv or enjoy the free WI FI. There is a bathroom on the premises with, both, a working lock on the door and sign stating to knock before entering for added protection and privacy. The owner Tia is truly devoted to giving her customers the best service possible and takes painstaking care with her drop off orders. I am hoping to enjoy the indulgence of their drop off service...at $1.20 per pound for a wash, dry and professional fold. Plus an extra 20 percent off discount for UK students, campus workers, UK Hospital employees and Military Members. They are open seven days a week from 8am to 9pm, so there are plenty of opportunity to get your laundry done. I urge you all to take a trip to Suds N Duds next time you need to wash. Good: Adding free wifi is a great feature. Bad: The owner/attendant is not friendly, often irritated; the place is dirty, narrow, and the bathroom door doesn't lock any more. The sink area in the back is just horrible, more like a dump or construction site. Soap recepticles are never wiped, machines have notes written on masking tape like: see attendant to star the machine, cold wash only (repairs are expensive, but how about nicer signs or lock on bathroom door instead of sign, please knock before entering!). Improvements: no more hillbilly repairs with masking or ducktape repair bathroom lock clean up the back area by fixing floor, sink, etc. Maybe landlord should do it Front is okay, but could use some sprucing up, at least a smile would be an improvement. Other: Overall, I understand that everyone wants to keep the expenses and costs down. But I feel that masking tape holding up the light switch, dirty chair cushions, and dump area around the sink are not expensive to fix and would make the place a lot more attractive. The thing is the prices are not at all low, to justify such poor housekeeping.. more

This is where I take my comforters and large items to launder. It is located in the shopping center behind the McDonald's on Richmond Road. They offer reasonable prices on laundry services or you can do it yourself and use their machines. They have four of the oversize washing machines. Staff throughout the eighteen years I have been using this laundromat have been friendly and helpful. They cheerfully make change for me and let me know when to expect the large washers to be done with their cycles so I can return to dry my items on time. When I've paid them to launder clothing or comforters I've always been happy with the results. more
